The Climate Group is an independent, nonprofit organization that wishes to advance business and government leadership on climate change. The Climate Group has offices in the UK, the USA, Australia, China, and India and operates programs internationally to reduce global emissions from diverse sources.
The organization was founded in 2004 by a group of companies, governments and supporters who wished to seize the opportunity to create new momentum in the international effort to stop climate change.
Working method
The Climate Group aims to build collaborations between businesses and governments to secure responsiveness. The organization works one-on-one with its members and develops leadership groups to work on solutions. Also, the Climate Group runs a low-carbon excellence program to enables peer-to-peer learning.
