IISD

The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) is a Canada-based non-profit research institute focused on improving the sustainability of the world. Through its headquarters in Winnipeg, Canada, and its offices in Geneva, Ottawa, and New York, IISD is aiming to cunduct research, provide expert analysis and deliver policy recommendations in the areas of business, environmental science, government, and international relations. IISD receives financial support from Canadian federal and provincial governments as well as other national governments, UN agencies, foundations, and the private sector.

Working Method

IISD is especially concerned with publishing reports and policy recommendations for policy-makers and businesses.  Further, IISD has developed a code of conduct guide for board members, employees and associates to follow in their way of doing business.
