IBLF

The International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) is a UK-based non-profit organization that works with business, government and society in the UK and abroad to "enhance the contribution that companies can make to sustainable development". The IBLF was set up in 1990 by The Prince of Wales and a group of chief executives of international companies, and is at present supported some 100 of the world's leading businesses, including Coca-Cola, Shell, Deloitte, BP, Volkswagen and Exxonmobil.

Working Methods

IBLF provides strategic counsel to companies to enable them to understand and respond to the development challenges that they face, particularly when operating in transition and emerging economies. The current areas of work include raising sustainable business standards, improving prospects for enterprise and employment, enabling companies to contribute to health and human development issues, and strengthening institution building by supporting the national and international organisations that engage business in development issues.
